Just five minutes‘ walk away across he Hakaniemi bridge, you'll be in the historic Kruunuhaka. Crossing it will lead you to the historic centre of Helsinki at the Senate Square, where you'll find the Cathedral, University of Helsinki and many other important public buildings from the 19th Century. Continue your walk a little and you'll be at the Central Market Square (Kauppatori).
Back at your flat, you will be amazed by its brightness and striking views overlooking the sea, many of the green islands of Helsinki, and the impressive buildings of Kruunuhaka and Katajannokka.
The apartment has just been redecorated with comfortable contemporary furniture. The living room is furnished with a spacious sofa-bed and a beautiful dining table, easily seating 4 - 6 people.
The 16 m2 balcony with breathtaking views over the sea is ideal for enjoying lunch or dinner, or just a cup of coffee - even when it gets cold outside, as it can be easily closed with glass windows. The infrared heating system allows you to enjoy even the cool summer nights, while marvelling on the unobstructed sea view from the terrace!
The kitchen and the bedroom are situated at the back of the apartment, overlooking a quiet garden. Here you can easily sleep with the windows open despite being in the centre of Helsinki.
The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and plenty of storage space in the wardrobe.
The sofa-bed in the living room can be quickly converted into another comfortable bed for two persons.
The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower, heated towel rack, toilet, and a washer/dryer. A separate walk-in closet has space for storing your suitcases, shoes, etc., and for hanging all your clothes.
During your stay you can of course cook and entertain your friends like a true chef in a fully equipped kitchen complete with everything you need for preparing, cooking and serving food including fridge/freezer, oven, ceramic cook-top (hob), microwave and dishwasher. There is also another dining table in the kitchen.
Within a few minutes’ walk you can find a well stocked supermarket, but you should definitely not miss the colourful Hakaniemi market and of course the "Hakaniemen Halli" food hall, where you'll find the freshest produce around: fish, meat, cheese, bread and pastries and all kinds of vegetables and fruit.
While in Finland, enjoy the luxurious sauna at the top of the building available for its residents!
